Infrastructure Net Zero
Concentration of focus to achieve alignment between Government and the private sector that will set the future direction of the infrastructure sector for the next three decades.
Framing common principles for emission reduction and developing enabling tools and sectoral decarbonisation pathways. This will help to establish a critical mass that enables better work by realigning the value chain around a low carbon circular economy.
Speaking with one voice:
• on the development and implementation of national and state regulation,
• in framing the terms of engagement and reporting requirements with the investment sector, and
• demonstrating progress to the communities that infrastructure serves.
Increasing capacity and opportunity for collaboration across the sector to address other related critical issues including climate adaptation and natural capital.
